The Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek is one of the most challenging mountain treks in the world. Located in the Khumbu region of Nepal, this trek has been a very popular destination for trekkers and tourists ever since the very first expedition to the Nepalese side of Mt. Everest in 1953 has been done. It is famous for its spectacular mountain peaks accompanied by the loyalty and friendliness of its inhabitants (the Sherpas). The main attraction of the trek is Mt. Everest (8,848m), which is the highest peak on the planet.

- Personal insurance policy – suggested a comprehensive travel insurance covering tour and flight cancellations, loss of valuables, thefts, illness, accidents and hospitalization.
- Expenses incurred by re-routing, inclement weather, floods, famine, political disruptions, strikes, riots and other disturbances.
- Emergency evacuation charges [ Helicopter rescue].

The EBC trek is considered moderately to highly challenging. Trekkers need to walk 5–7 hours daily on rugged terrain at high altitude. Prior trekking experience and good physical fitness are recommended.
The ideal seasons are:
- Spring (March–May): Clear skies and blooming rhododendrons
- Autumn (September–November): Stable weather and excellent mountain visibility
Everest Base Camp is located at 5,364 meters (17,598 feet) above sea level. The highest point trekked during the trip is Kala Patthar at 5,545 meters.
Yes, due to high elevation, Altitude Mountain Sickness (AMS) is a risk. Proper acclimatization, hydration, and a gradual ascent (as in the itinerary) help reduce the risk. Our guides are trained to handle AMS-related issues.
Not mandatory, but it’s highly recommended to have done some multi-day treks. Regular cardio fitness and leg strength training before the trip will help a lot.
