DAY 01: Arrival in Kathmandu [1345m] | Welcoming the guests is our passion
Embarking on our Manaslu Circuit Trek journey begins in Kathmandu, the city with the remarkable architecture dating back to the 16th Century. Our team representative will welcome you at the Tribhuwan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. Our representative will help you to check in to the hotel. You will be welcomed, facilitated, and served with a beautiful hotel room. The first arrival day is entirely a break day. In the evening, you can walk around nearby touristic hubs like Thamel and Basantapur Durbar Square.
DAY 02: Sightseeing In Kathmandu [1345m] | The City of Arts and Architecture
Kathmandu Valley is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal, with a rich artistic and cultural heritage. Kathmandu has been one of the popular destinations for international tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The valley offers a wonderful mix of Hinduism and Buddhism. Right after having breakfast, we are off to visit one of the greatest Hindu temples- Pashupatinath- and two famous Buddhist Temples- the Boudhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa followed by sightseeing in Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight in Kathmandu marks the ending of the second day of the Manaslu Circuit Trek.
DAY 03: Drive To Arughat Bazaar | Along with the banks of Trishuli & Marsyangi rivers | 5-6hrs |
After breakfast, you will be driven to Arughat Bazaar of Gorkha district through the Prithivi Highway. We witness splendid views of mountains, villages and cities, and forests along with the banks of the Trishuli and Marsyangi rivers below us, which makes our Manaslu Circuit Trek more amazing. Overnight at lodge/camp.
DAY 04: Arughat Bazaar to Soti Khola [710m] | Picturesque hamlets surrounding us | 3- 4 hrs |
Today is an important day as it marks the beginning of our trek towards our destination. Our journey of the Manaslu Circuit Trek starts from Arughat Bazaar. The trail follows the path along the Budi Gandaki, and on the way, we see picturesque hamlets surrounding us. After making a brief climb to Kyoropani, we descend once again to the river that is at the confluence with the tributary of Sundi Khola. It’s a nice first day, not too long, and perhaps we will have time for a refreshing swim sometime during the day, as it is hotter in the lower part of Nepal. Overnight at lodge /camp.
DAY 05: Soti Khola to Machha Khola [900m] | Passing a forested trail, exploring rich flora and fauna | 6- 7 hrs |
Today we trek up to Machha Khola. For this, firstly we hike down towards Sundi Khola until the trail begins to take off in the later part of the day. Finally, we pass a forested trail exploring rich flora and fauna before we reach Machha Khola. Overnight at lodge / camp.
DAY 06: Machha Khola to Jagat [1410m] | The changes in vegetation with every few hundred meters of rising altitude | 6- 7 hrs |
From Machha Khola, with the rising altitude the trek will get intense. However, the trail will offer us some recess in between like, hot springs and lush green forests with endangered species running around the forests. Moreover, the vegetation changes with every few hundred meters of rising altitude. Overnight at lodge / camp.
DAY 07: Jagat to Deng [1804m] | Right-hand branch heading towards the Ganesh Himal | 6-7hrs |
Leaving Jagat, we descend a long series of stone steps to the river and then climb a terraced hill to Saguleri, from where one can see the impressive Sringi Himal (7,187 m). The path then splits, with the right-hand branch heading towards the Ganesh Himal while crossing the river at Gata Khola. The trail then continues upstream through a gorge with towering walls. DAY 08: Deng to Ghap [2160m] | Inhabitant by Tibetan Culture | 4- 5 hrs |
From Deng, today we move ahead towards Deng by crossing the Lama village, inhabited by people who are following Buddhism, with Tibetan Culture. Our walk continues with descent towards Bihi Bazaar, a small village near the side. Our walk leads on a gradual trail with a few short ups and downs. After some hours of walking, we finally reach the valley of Ghap. Overnight at lodge/camp.
DAY 09: Ghap to Lho Gaun [3180m] | Predominantly a Buddhist settlement with chortens and Mani | 6 hrs |
Today, we will ltrek up to Lho Gaun, a perfect place to encounter the local culture during the Manaslu Circuit Trek. After gaining some altitude we get comfortable with the alpine climate. En route we can enjoy phenomenally large number of mountain views, pasturelands, glaciers, and upstreams. We take the best and the easiest trail all the way up to the Gompa. In addition, on our way to destination, we walk along the trail that cuts through Lho village, predominantly a Buddhist settlement with chortens and Mani. Overnight at lodge /camp.
DAY 10: Lho Gaun to Samagaun [3530m] | Near the Tibetan border | 5 hrs |
Leaving Lho village, we follow the right bank of the river with views of Peak 29 ahead. As we continue along the main trail, we soon reach the fields of Sama Gaon. After twenty minutes of walking beyond the village, we reach Sama Gompa, a prominent place for Buddhist people, which is very near to the Tibetan border. Overnight at lodge/camp.
DAY 11: Acclimatization Day [3530m] | A complete rest for the day |
Today is another rest day after the continuous walk for several days in the Manaslu Circuit Trek. We spend our entire day taking complete rest, planning for forthcoming trips, and getting habituated to our trekking destinations. We can also walk around Samagaun and explore villages. Overnight at lodge/camp.
DAY 12: Samagaun to Samdo [3860m] | We are above the tree line and in the alpine zone | 5 hrs |
At this point, we will be thrilled to know that we are above the tree line and in the alpine zone. We enjoy the icy trails; bear Mountains, snowy peaks and glaciers. We pass through lots of Chorten and prayer flags on the way to Samdo. Overnight at lodge /camp.
DAY 13: Samdo to Larkya La Phedi [4460m] | Tomorrow will be a big day | 4 hrs |
Leaving Samdo, we continue the journey to Larkya La Phedi. It is a small, old bazaar from where we can see the towering Mt. Manaslu and other surrounding mountains. We also see the old trade route to Tibet along the river. We need to remember to have plenty of food and a good amount of sleep, as tomorrow is going to be a big day for us. Overnight at lodge/camp.
DAY 14: Larkya La Phedi to Bimthang [3720m] | Most awaited destination for the day | 8hrs |
From Larkya la Phedi, we walk ahead to Larkya Pass, which is most awaited destination for the day. After a short hike, we get close to Larkya North Glacier, which offers a great view of Cho Danda and Larkya Peak. Throughout the way to Bimthang, we get magnificent views of beautiful mountains right before our eyes including Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kangguru Himal and Annapurna-II. Overnight at lodge /camp.
DAY 15: Bimthang to Dharapani [1860m] | Enjoying the beauty of Himalchuli | 7- 8 hrs |
Leaving Bimthang, we trek to Dharapani which is the point of departure for Annapurna Circuit. We continue the journey ahead enjoying the beauty of Himalchuli and start descending down to Jagat following Tilije Khola. Overnight at lodge / camp.
DAY 16: Dharapani to Jagat [1410m] | The glorious backdrop of towering Annapurna mountain ranges | 6hrs |
Like previous day, we make descend until the trail reaches the river. Further ascent ahead leads to sharp-edged cliff facing the riverbank. En route, Chyamje comes into picture amidst the glorious backdrop of towering Annapurna mountain ranges. On treading along a succession of rock-strewn trails, we descend to a grassy riverbank that leads to Tal and Karte. Overnight at lodge / camp.
DAY 17: Jagat to Bahundanda [1310m] | “Brahmins hills”, inhabited by Brahmins | 3-4hrs |
Bahundanda – means “Brahmins hills”, mostly inhabited by Brahmins. As we move away from Jagat, we catch and see the magnificent Annapurna mountain ranges. Besides, this trail offers us a variety of interesting places and rural villages. On the way, we will be captivated by terraced fields, waterfalls, dense forests, and rivers. Overnight at lodge/camp.
Day 18: Bahundanda to Bhulbhule [840m] | Observing and exploring the local lifestyle and culture | 3-4hrs |
Today, we follow the path to Bhulbhule, one of the amazing places in the Manaslu Circuit Trek. This route follows the way that consists of lush forests, waterfalls, rivers, landscape, hills, and some villages where we can observe and explore the local lifestyle and culture. Overnight at lodge/camp.
DAY 19: Bhulbhule to Besi Shahar | End of the trek | 2-3hrs |
The day marks the end of the Manaslu Circuit Trek. We walked for a couple of hours to reach the destination. Besisahar is a municipality and the district headquarters of the Lamjung District in Gandaki Pradesh. It is inhabited by different castes, religions, and cultures. DAY 20: Drive to Kathmandu [1345m] | Along the banks of the Trishuli and Marsyangi rivers | 5- 6hrs |
After breakfast, we will go back to Kathmandu by tourist vehicle. The entire day in the capital is free for some shopping and relaxation. We share our adventurous stories and celebrate the success of our Manaslu Circuit Trek trip together. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 21: Final Departure | Knowing how satisfied our guests are measured not only by how tight the goodbye hugs are but by staying in touch with us forever.
This is the last day of your Manaslu Circuit Trek visit. You can enjoy shopping and buying souvenirs for friends and relatives. We will drop you off at the airport 3 hrs before the departure time. The memories that you have shared with us matter a lot. Waving hands and goodbye hugs are just not enough, we tell our beloved guests to stay in touch with us. This is the way how we feel satisfied by our services.
